The appropriate option depends on the number of missing teeth, available bone, bite and restorative goals.

Implant placement is performed with anesthesia. Patients can experience soreness, tenderness and swelling afterward. The amount of discomfort varies depending on the number of implants placed and whether extraction, bone grafting or another procedure was performed.

Implant treatment often involves several stages and may take several months when healing, extraction, bone grafting or multiple procedures are required. Your actual timeline is determined after examination and imaging.
